Sharol R. Stewart grew up in Middletown, CT. She has regained her love of watercolor painting after many years of other creative endeavors. Throughout her early years as a young woman, she demonstrated a passion for the arts by engaging in painting, ceramics, crewel embroidery, sewing Past Patterns, and making jewelry with Antique Buttons. Articles have appeared in the New York Times, Victorian Magazine, Norwich Bulletin, and The New London Day. Sharol has participated in watercolor workshops with Susan Duke at Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, SC, and Ralph Acosta at Stone Eagle Studio in Stonington, CT. She has exhibited at the Marshview Gallery in Old Saybrook.
